What can I do with a masters degree in organizational development/behavior?
I'm looking to pursue a masters degree in organizational development, but I'm not sure if it's in demand or where I'd begin looking for work. Ideally, I'd love to apply it to my current job as an admissions counselor for a university, but I wanted to know what other options I would have after this degree?

- There are plenty of openings as valets.
- I think that type of degree is what companies will be looking for in the future... You can work in HR, management, teach.... I think you can make that degree work into any field... Just need to put the right spin on it...
- ask the counseling section of the university offering the course where their graduates have gone for employment. You are probably looking at working in a very large company who can afford to have someone this specialized on their staff or teach at a university large enough to specialize in such a field. If you like like the closeness of academia and one to one relationship you can have there, you might not be happy leaving it for the new working environment.
- You can help people and get paid. I don't have a degree in behavioral science, but worked at it for years in the field of developmental disabilities. Still do, but these days I am a music teacher, and my behavioral studies have been an asset in my work with students.
